Thanks for a great meeting last night. The family seems to have made a huge step forward in our collective recovery journey. A number of family members opened up and made themselves vulnerable. The emotional outpouring of support was incredible!
Given some of the dicussion, I came up with a thought. What about having a family reunion in 2012 or 2013? This would be family centered event without a focus on another event such as wedding, baby shower, etc. If we can put in on the calendar now, perhaps those more geographically distant would be able to attend. Of course, it would not need to be held in the Chicago area though that would be an option as those living here could potentially host those from out of town. Thoughts?
